Gran Paradiso Haute Route and Gran Paradiso ascent

Close to Gran Paradiso summit

Glacier trek in Italy, Gran Paradiso Haute Route and Gran Paradiso ascent, first 4,000 meters peak.

5 days programme, departure each Saturday from 10 of June till 9 of September 2017, group of 5 hikers. One Mountain Guide during all the tour.

PRICE 739 Euros including free roundtrip shuttle from Chamonix (limited number of places in the shuttle, contact us for further information).

At 43 miles from Chamonix, protected from the Atlantic atmospheric disturbances by the barrier of the Mont-Blanc massif, the Grand-Paradis Haute Route embodies the softness of life in Aoste Valley, the sole region of Italy with French-speaking tradition.

Essentially known for its National Park which shelters the most beautiful herds of ibexes of the Alps, the Grand-Paradis is also one of the easiest "Thirteeners peaks" in Europe. Its ascent is the high point of five days all superb and different.

Route: Meeting in Pont (6,430 feet), at 10 am. Free transportation from Chamonix to Pont for the first registered participants. Descent of Val Savarenche till Pravieux mountain pasture (6,138 feet), footpath up to Chabod hut (9,022 feet), where we will have a course about the different knots used in mountaineering / Sberna pass (11,191 feet), ice-climbing school, Chabod hut / glacier and footpath till Vittorio Emanuele hut (8,963 feet) / Tresenta peak (11,840 feet), Vittorio Emanuele hut / ascent of Gran Paradiso (13,323 feet), Pont.
